This past weekends "UFC 118: Edgar vs. Penn II" took place at the TD Garden in Boston and drew a reported 14, 168 fans to the TD Garden in Boston for a gate total of $2.8 million.
There were 2,963 free tickets issued by the UFC, so to say it was a "sellout" is a bit misleading in my opinion.

Since the MMAOutsider is not privy to the fighter salaries, I have to rely on other sites to pick up on things like fighter salaries for events like UFC 117.
It turns out that the top earners for UFC 117 were Anderson Silva and Matt Hughes who each earned $200,000 for their wins. The next top earner was Jon Fitch who earned $108,000 for his win.

Well according to MMAjunkie.com who talked with Quebec Athletic Commission rep John Judd, former UFC welterweight Paul "Semtex" Daley has received a 30 day suspension for his illegal sucker punch of Josh Koscheck after their fight at UFC 113.
The date of that, rather lenient in my opinion, 30 day suspension began Tuesday the 10th of August. Thus allowing Daley to compete on Sept. 11 on the main pay-per-view card of Shark Fights 13 against Jorge Masvidal.

Wow, I hope Shark Fights is paying close attention to this as they've got a name heavy card coming up in September, but many of the fighters who participated in both of the Impact FC events this past month have gone unpaid.
Cagepotato.com broke the news saying that the event heads, Australian concert promoter Andrew McManus and his Impact FC partner Tom Huggins, are at odds about who is responsible for paying the fighters.

A total of six fighters earned "Fight Night" bonuses after Saturday night's "UFC 116: Lesnar vs. Carwin" event. Earning $75,000 each Chris Leben, Yoshihiro Akiyama, Stephan Bonnar, Krzysztof Soszynski, Gerald Harris, and Brock Lesnar all walked away with the a bonus after their efforts at UFC 116.

Of the four main event fighters, UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar tops the list at $400,000 win or lose. While opponent Shane Carwin will earn $40,000 to show, with the possibility of earning another $40,000 for a win.
