
UFC middleweight fighters Jesse Forbes (11-4) and Ryan Jensen (14-6) have signed bout agreements to meet in Las Vegas as part of UFC 114.
The as of yet announced, UFC 114 is expected to take place on May 29th from the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas. Headlining the event is a light-heavyweight bout between former champs and “TUF 10″ coaches Rashad Evans and Quinton Jackson.
A source within the UFC spoke to MMAFighting.com about the Forbes vs. Jensen agreement on Monday.
Forbes is a former cast member of “The Ultimate Fighter” season 3, losing to Matt Hamil at the Finale in June of 2006. Since then, Forbes has fought 13 times with various organizations before landing back with the UFC in his last bout. He had a five fight win streak snapped by Nick Catone at UFN 20 via split decision.
An MMA veteren, Jensen started his professional career in 1997 and has fought in the UFC five times going 1-4. In his last three UFC bouts, Jensen’s put together a 1-2 record losing to Mark Muñoz on Jan. 2nd at UFC 108. He scored a victory over Steve Steinbeiss via technical submission at UFN 19 last September.
